Membership in the NDSG is open to various institutions and individuals who share the vision and mission of promoting stable, effective, and good governance in Nigeria’s democratic system. How to Join the NDSG

The national democracy stakeholders Group (NDSG) offers a variety of membership categories, namely; 

  1. Individual
  2. Institutional

All the above membership categories comes with certain responsibilities and benefits. But they all work together to ultimately achieve the collective goal of the NDSG. Below are the steps to take to become a member of the NDSG;

You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of democracy, let us use that power. Let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give youth a future and old age a security.

  1. Determine Eligibility: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for membership in the National Democracy Stakeholders Group (NDSG). Eligibility typically includes being 18 years of age or older, possessing a valid voter card (for individuals), and adhering to the organization’s code of conduct.
  2. Obtain Membership Form: Contact the NDSG to obtain a membership form. You can typically obtain the form from office, or designated representatives or register through the organization’s website; www.ndsg.ng.
  3. Complete Membership Form: Fill out the membership form accurately and completely. Provide all required personal information, including your full name, contact details, educational qualifications, occupation, areas of interest, and any relevant affiliations.
  4. Attach Required Documents: Attach photocopies of your national identification card and any other requested documents, such as educational certificates or professional qualifications.

  5. Pay Membership Fee: If applicable, pay the annual membership fee as specified by the NDSG. The fee helps support the organization’s operational activities and initiatives.

  6. Review and Sign Declaration: Read through the declaration section of the membership form carefully. Sign and date the declaration, confirming that all information provided is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

  7. Submit Membership Form: Submit the completed membership form, along with any required documents and membership fee payment, to the designated contact person or office of the NDSG.

  8. Await Confirmation: Once your membership form and payment are received, the NDSG will review your application. You will receive confirmation of your membership status via email, phone call, or postal mail.

  9. Participate in NDSG Activities: Upon approval of your membership, actively participate in NDSG meetings, events, and activities. Engage with fellow members and contribute to the organization’s mission of promoting democracy, human rights, and social justice.

  10. Renew Membership Annually: Ensure to renew your membership annually by paying the required membership fee and updating any changes to your personal information. This will help maintain your active membership status in the NDSG.
